The sports element (netball and rugby) of the tour commenced today bright and early at 8:30am for the group.
We were all soon enthused by the brilliance of the coaches of our respective sports. The boys were trained by the expertise of coaches at the the local rugby team called The Sharks; the girls were trained by the South African womens' coach a little further out of Durban.
Though there were many aching bodies by the end of the day, there were also many new skills passed on ready to apply to the game later on in the tour.
Tomorrow: another day's hard work training, then finished off with a trip to the largest mall in the Southern Hemisphere!
